Pet Passports

Pet Travel Scheme
The Pet Travel Scheme (PETS) is the system that allows:

•Pet dogs, cats and ferrets from certain countries and territories to enter the UK without quarantine as long as they meet the rules.
•People in the UK to take their dogs, cats and ferrets to other European Union (EU) and certain non-EU countries and territories, and return with them to the UK without the need for quarantine.
The rules are to keep the UK free from rabies and certain other diseases.

These rules will change on 1 January 2012 when the UK brings its procedures into line with the European Union.

We have several LVI qualified veterinarians who can stamp and sign passports, perform fitness to travel checks (which must be carried out no more then 48 hours before the pet is due to travel) and give the relevant vaccinations.
