Sandra Brooks , Head nurse, joined 1997

Sandra runs the nursing side of the clinic behind the scenes. She is involved in the training of the junior nurses, maintaining the imaging equipment as well as animal nursing duties. Her special interest is orthopaedic nursing.
She has got a Siberian Husky called Gus and spends many weekends on long walks with him.

 Tara Hine, Nurse, joined 2002

Tara is involved in all aspects of nursing. She enjoys working with the diabetic patients as well as running behaviour clinics. She has recently completed a Nurse Certificate in animal behaviour.
Tara has been on maternity leave after the birth of her baby boy Charlie and is rejoining us part time now.

 Bridie Richards, Nurse, joined 2007

Bridie is involved with training the junior nurses as well as general nursing duties such as theatre and medical nursing, dispensary and consulting work.
She has horses and is interested in the equine side of practice, as well as three dogs, two cats, a pig and some poultry!


Louise Fallows, Nurse

Louise has completed her nursing degree and is now adding another year to her studies and aiming to complete her BSc. She will be working with us in her time off from university and also will be on the nurse on call rota and will resume full duties once finished her degree next summer.

 

Julie Cooper, Nurse

We would like to introduce Julie who has just joined us in October. Julie will be covering general nursing duties and she has special interests in orthopaedic nursing and animal behaviour. Julie has one dog called Lola and enjoys walking her, as well as socialising with her friends.

 Rebecca Williamson, Trainee Nurse

Rebecca has just started her second year of her three year nursing course at Rodbaston college.
Rebecca covers all nursing duties on a daily basis, as well as being in charge of our Pet food section, covering the life stage as well as the prescription foods from our main supplier Royal Canin.

 Hannah Johnson, Trainee Nurse

Hannah started working with us a receptionist in 2009 and then decided she liked the practical aspects of animal care. She has started her first year in Bottle Green Nursing college and now covers general nursing duties as well as being in charge of small animal stock and lab reports.
